Expedition Surf Charters is a boat trip for explorers, not tourists. Our team of die-hard surfers and sailors will custom build your trip around the kind of experience that you and your friends want. We won't lock you into an air-conditioned cabin and try to make you forget where you are. We emphasize a total ocean experience. Our guests become part of the crew, meet local people and eat local food, dive and fish at locations throughout the Pacific, and surf their guts out-all in the spirit of adventure and discovery.

Let's face it, waves are a finite resource. They're not making any more of them. The world's growing population of surfers all have to find their niche. The traditional boat trip has found a lucrative market in surfers with lots of cash and little vacation time, who need to get in, get barreled, and go back to work without breaking a nail. We have nothing against the "tea-bag" approach to surf travel (drop 'em in, then pull 'em out), but it's not what we do.

At Expedition, we're not businessmen; we're surfers. We like to explore the ocean with like-minded surfers. Our trips last two weeks or more, and our guests get a hands-on experience. We don't contract out local boats and crews the way most operations do; we are the crew. Expedition is staffed with a unique group of surfer/sailors-who know as much about seafaring as they do about wave-riding. Our safety protocols meet and exceed all applicable requirements. You may get a sunburn and a blister or two, but you'll have an unforgettable experience.
